Waktu berjalan cepat sekali. Nggak berasa kakakku punya pacar, dilamar, lamaran, dan minggu lalu akhirnya menikah. Awalnya aku merasa biasa aja, ikut senang tapi yasudah. Terus karena proses mempersiapkan pernikahan itu ribet, aku malah jadi pengen cepat-cepat hari-H, pengen cepat selesai. Mendekati harinya, mulai muncul banyak pertanyaan ‘kamu sedih nggak?’ dan waktu itu aku masih jawab biasa aja. Sampai kemudian mulai banyak barang-barang yang dikemas untuk pindahan. And there it goes. It hit me hard: my sister will not be here anymore.

Setelah setahun lebih akhirnya muncul juga ‘note to self‘ ku yang kedua: please take a good care of the earth! Tulisan ini dibuat sebagai pegingat atas komitmenku buat menjadikan bumi ini tempat yang lebih baik.
Awalnya aku kepikiran karena pacarku suka men-challenge tentang isu-isu kayak gini buat bahan diskusi kita. Suatu hari dia tanya gimana pendapatku tentang claiming self as a pet lover but not going vegan or vegetarian. Apakah salah? Apakah munafik? Dan apakah dengan begitu aku menganggap bahwa pets (seperti anjing, kucing, kelinci, dkk) itu lebih berharga atau tinggi kastanya daripada ternak (seperti sapi, ayam, kambing)?

So here we are at the end of another year. another checkpoint. another look-back-and-give-thanks moment.
A hard and a wonderful year. A year of faith.
This year is one of the most important year in my life. Yes, at the beginning of this year, I have just started my career as a ‘Professional Makeup Artist’ and a blogger. I honestly never thought that I could go this far and be at this certain point of my life, at this very moment. And I cannot thank God enough for that! ❤
I started from zero. I took risks and tried to live in my passion. Not many people believed in what I did but once again, thank God! Thank God for every open doors, for every right persons, and for every right time.
This post is actually a personal thank you note and appreciation to each and every one of you who supports, collaborates, or even just trust me enough through this year.
